Sissy and Sassy

Update March 26th. Sissy has been adopted. Sassy is still waiting for her forever home. She doesn't present herself well at the shelter. She is shy and reserved. She just needs a gentle hand and a person she can bond with. Please consider adopting Sassy.
UPDATE March 23rd. We harness broke Sissy and Sassy in a 6 dog team. It is always funny watching that little lightbulb go off in their heads. Usually takes a half mile or so. Sissy was on the line right off the bat (after keeping her turned forward before we got going!). She is all work and seriousness. Sassy is finer boned and indeed more Sassy. She wanted to play and jump around a lot. We put her beside Sammy who tolerated her puppiness with great professionalism. These 2 girls, although small, have speed. They love to run and go go go. With time and patience I can see these girls flying through the woods pulling a light weight skijorer. Please give them a chance.
Sissy and Sassy were found on Bradway Road. Hopefully their owner will come and claim them. They are just puppies and are shy but very sweet. They really want to be loved but are reserved. Sassy is more outgoing but takes a lot of her cues from her sister. If they aren't claimed these two girls would probably grow up to be great pets and skijoring dogs.
These girls were moved inside and are staying together for right now. They are sweet and curious. I love these pups. They remind me of a little pointer mix that I got at the shelter 5 years ago (Blackberry) who ended up being one of the fastest dogs in my yard. These pointer mixes are people dogs and these 2 girls would love to come home with you and learn to skijor and go hiking.
